Learning about the
Blue Angels High Tech Helmuts
2018

Above: Debra holding a Blue Angels Helmut, which is custom molded to the pilots head. It is very high tech. Although silly looking on Debra, always curious to learn she tried it on, so see how they see through the visor, the snug fit, cushion, and high tech gear designed to help these pilots fly so close, if they open the top of the cockpit, they can reach their hand up and touch the bottom of the plane above.

"Although I feel a bit silly, it is important for everyone to suspend pride and vanity, to learn! The only way to understand this technology was to try the helmut on." The former Blue Angle helped put it on, and explained the technology. The reflective visor was super clear to see through, even in an interior room.

Above: Richard Scott Hill, Debras father was stationed in Germany. He guarded the Hercules missiles. Growing up during the Cold War, national defense was an important topic around the dinner table.
Family
"Even as a young child, politics, national defense, community involvement were always front and center at family gatherings." Everyone was involved on some level in country, community, arts, it was ingrained in us, to be productive, good citizens.
"All the trouble Valley Forge had endured from the beginning of intensive commercial development in the area...."

Learning from others. Pushing forward for excellent parks is not a new concept for her family. Debra's "Uncle Hugh" (U.S. Senator Hugh Doggett Scott, Jr.) helped create Valley Forge under the Department of Interior with President Ford. Senator Scott, was a long time Republican Senator from Pennsylvania, Minority Leader (R) of the Senate and National Republican Party Chairman.
George Washington seeks to bring ancestor grandfather, American Revolutionary War Patriot Peregrine Fitzhugh, into "Washington's Family", a closely knit group closely tied to General Washington during the American Revolution.
George Washington sends stern letter, in regards to Baylor making sure Peregrine Fitzhugh becomes part of "Washington's Family." He was finally made and Aide de Camp and was kept close to General Washington, ending at the Battle of Yorktown, and VICTORY!
