“Torso” influenced heavily by Michelangelo’s “David.” It is exemplified here as the man as sculpture series, in which the subject was painted in clay and posed into classic historical sculpture.

This combination of artistic vision, combined with carefully planned execution, lends for a perfect translation of an older glorious piece, into contemporary fine art photographic art. The series expanded into bolder pieces, but this subdued elegant piece is on display and available for purchase at this Friday’s Exhibit.

The subjects ,natural curvature and weight lent himself to perfect proportions which would have been found in Michelangelo’s time.
